FARA IN SABINA: The museum of Fara is housed in a renaissance palace situated in the piazza del belvedere and is entirely dedicated to the Sabines.
The 3 rooms of the museum show artefacts which come from the pre-Roman Sabine towns of Eretum and Cures. In the first room important objects which adorned the tombs in Eretum are exhibited; in the others numerous artefacts found in the site of Cures as well as a number of objects recuperated in “Capanna L”, a hut from the 7th century B.C. excavated near Passo Corese. The hut, which is the only existing example of a primitive Sabine dwelling, has made it possible to study the methods of construction and way of life of the Sabine shepherds.  The museum also shows some precious fragments of "the warrior cart", which was brought to light in various phases in the area of Colle del Forno, and is now housed in the Civic museum of Copenhagen.

CASTELNUOVO DI FARFA : Olive Oil Museum
The project of museum was strongly supported by some of the most famous masters of contemporary sculpting. Among them it is worth mentioning Alik Cavaliere, dead before his time, who could not complete l his projected work, at present, only some fragments of symbolic olive oil can be seen. He was then followed by Maria Lai, who kept working on the museum project and, moreover, created its logo, a fine poem and"Olio al pane, alla terra il sogno". "Ulivo Viaggiante" was sculpeted by Hidetoshi Nagasawa in a dark cavern in which a brass boat, containing a copper olive tree, hags upturned from the ceiling over tens of oil lamps floating on a shett of water. Whit all its numerous values olive oil represents therefore, the main element of the museum that, following a regressive process, brilliantly illustrates the present and the past.
